THE DOG WHO CAME TO STAY
Last year, Matt and Fiona went on holiday to Spain. They stayed in a small cottage. One day, Matt
went for a long walk. He found a dog! It wagged its little tall and followed Matt all the
way home. Flona liked the dog and she gave it some food. It ate the food quickly
because the poor dog was very hungry. It sat outside their front door.
At 10 p.m, it was cold outside so Flona let the dog come Inside
the house. It sat beside her on the sofa. The little dog was
a girl. They named her Hilda. Hilda stayed with them inside
of the cottage. After staying together for ten days it was time
to go home for Matt and Flona. Fiona took Hilda to a dog
rescue center. Sadly, the center had no room for little Hilda.
However, the center offered a solution. They transported Hilda
to England, to Fiona and Matt's house. Fiona and Matt payed the
dog rescue group a fee. The fee was 500 pounds.
Now Hilda lives with Flona and Matt! She sleeps on the bed with
them at night and she eats delicious dog biscuits. Hilda plays with
the other dogs in the neighbourhood and she feels lucky. Hilda loves Matt and Flona as much as Matt
and Flona love her.
